Active dry starter for making breads, rolls and recipes where yeast would be necessary. Yeast free and 100% organic. Excellent tasting and not as sour as other starters.

This culture is active and ready to use in 48 hours!

Simply hydrate with 3-4 tbs clean water, mix well in a glass jar with lid. Leave for 24 hours, then feed as below.


2 tbs flour and 2 tbs water. Feed twice per day. Should be ready to use and active. Keep Refrigerated after use.

  • ½ Cup Sourdough Starter
  • 2 Tablespoons + 2 teaspoons spring water
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 ⅛ Cups gluten-free flour blend (which includes xanthan gum already, if no xanthan gum add 1/4 tsp)
  • ½ Tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ Tablespoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
