Dehydrated Gluten Free Organic Starter Culture
Active dry starter for making breads, rolls and recipes where yeast would be necessary. Yeast free and 100% organic. Excellent tasting and not as sour as other starters.
This culture is active and ready to use in 48 hours!
Simply hydrate with 3-4 tbs clean water, mix well in a glass jar with lid. Leave for 24 hours, then feed as below.
Feeding
2 tbs flour and 2 tbs water. Feed twice per day. Should be ready to use and active.

Maintaining Starter
Feed twice a day for 3 days, discard 1/2 of the starter on day 3 and feed, wait 6 hours. Your starter should now be active and ready to use in bread or other recipes.

RECIPE
- ½ Cup Sourdough Starter
- 2 Tablespoons + 2 teaspoons spring water
- 1 Egg
- 1 ⅛ Cups measure-for-measure gluten-free flour blend (which includes xanthan gum already)
- ½ Tablespoon sugar
- ¼ Tablespoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon oil
- 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
